Essential Skills for Illinois Notaries — $99
In 2009, Illinois enacted a set of new laws for identification and recordkeeping that affect Notaries throughout the state. Plus, a precedent-setting Illinois Appellate Court ruling established important case law that places new requirements on Notaries and their employers. Standards for identifying signers for all Notaries have changed, and notarizations of “documents of conveyance” for real property located in Cook County now require a “Notarial Record” to be made and filed — regardless of where the notarization was performed. We’ll cover all of the basics, too – if you’re an Illinois Notary, you need this.
