2005 Notary of the Year

Working closely with the Colorado Secretary of State’s office, Carol Salter recently provided important testimony to legislative committees which resulted in a significant upgrade to Colorado Notary law.

Salter, honored as the NNA’s 2005 Notary of the Year, is the legislative liaison for the McKee Medical Center and has held a seat on the Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance Board for more than 10 years, serving as Chairman of the Board in 2005. Salter is currently responsible for educating Notaries as well as the development and maintenance of online Notary education for the Banner Health hospital system. As the Scholarship Director for the Medical Center, Salter handles the operations and management of the program. To date, McKee has awarded over $300,000 in scholarship funds to individuals entering a healthcare related field of study.
