Daniel C. Lewis
2010 Notary of the Year
Daniel Lewis began his Notary career as a Signing Agent, establishing his own business in 2003. Today, he is a mentor and teacher to other NSAs; an advisor on Notary guidelines to the Indiana Secretary of State’s office and serves as a strong advocate for Notary best practices.
After obtaining his Indiana title producer’s license, Lewis developed the curriculum for several continuing education courses and the Department of Insurance. He now teaches three courses, including one on notarial ethics. Lewis mentors a number of Notaries and set up a statewide online group for Notaries across the state to exchange information. Lewis, a certified paralegal, is also a Navy veteran and was recently named the 2010 Notary of the Year.
